Dermochimica ensures, even through its suppliers, that every substance or preparation provided complies with the REACH regulation (EC Regulation 1907/2006 – “Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals”); therefore, our products conform to the current European Community legislation and its subsequent updates.
DERMOCHIMICA products comply with ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals).
ZDHC is an international foundation established in 2011 with the goal of eliminating hazardous chemicals in the textile, footwear, and leather supply chains. With over 170 brands and suppliers, it promotes safe and sustainable chemistry and zero discharge through its Roadmap to Zero.
The program is based on the MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List), which prohibits the use of harmful substances, improving both environmental impact and workplace safety.
Dermochimica is a member of UNPAC, the National Association that brings together Italian companies producing chemical-tannery auxiliaries. Founded in July 2009, UNPAC is an association established by Italian companies known for their strength and flexibility in professionally meeting customer needs, while safeguarding the common interests of their sector.
In an increasingly competitive market, preserving the history and heritage of industrial knowledge becomes a priority, alongside sharing common goals of global promotion and production flexibility. On this basis, UNPAC aims to promote Italian expertise in the custom formulation of chemical-tannery auxiliaries to both national and international leather industry clients.
